SunWater Temporary Water Sales

Psi-Delta and Elders Ltd are working together to provide brokerage services to SunWater for the marketing and trading of all of their temporary water.

Psi-Delta is providing expert advice on water marketing, and knowledge of water markets.

Elders Ltd is selling the water. Elders has 167 years of established services to more than 100,000 farmers in conducting Auctions and Private Sales of irrigation, land and permanent and temporary water allocations. The service is available through most of the 70 branches in Queensland.

What water is available and where?

SunWater may have temporary water available for sale in the following water supply systems (WSS) in Queensland:

• Barker Barambah

• Bowen Broken Rivers

• Bundaberg

• Burdekin Haughton

• Dawson Valley

• Julius Dam

• Lower Fitzroy

• Macintyre Brook

• Mary River

• Nogoa Mackenzie

• Pioneer River

• Proserpine River

• St George

• Upper Condamine and

• Warril Valley

All of the temporary water from SunWater will be traded by Elders.

Availability of water will depend on systems and seasonal allocations. Please contact the Elders Water Trading Centre (Brisbane) for the current availability or to obtain more information. 

How does it work?

The first thing to do is to contact Elders that will be able to help you. There two possibilities:

• Contact your local branch, or

• Contact the Water Trading Centre

They will be able to guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you may need.
